Looks - how important should it be - Honest !

What is it these days. I have noticed a dichotomy in my view when I'm checking out xtian sisters. I must admit I generally look for the best qualities my mum has while avoiding ones' "not so nice". The issue of me being imperfect aside. Why do I keep judging sister by looks Majorly. I have just come round to that realization. I've always denied it. I also noticed that when I broke off from my most serious relationship. I was constantly on the lookout for the very things I didn't like about my ex just so I don't get involved with somebody with same personality. The point of this post is why do I keep getting attracted to the nice looking sister alone ( in or outside of church) . Fact is their character and personality is the main decider but why. When I say fine sister I know its subjective but pls indulge me. What I mean by fine is the kind of sister 90% of guys would agree with. Anyway maybe this is a personal thing but is it genuinely true that most fine/pretty/externally beautiful sisters unusually come with extra baggage. I know beauty is passing but before it passes why is it such an issue. I for a fact know that I cannot live happily with somebody without internal beauty. I read something in genesis 29:11-20

16 Now Laban had two daughters; the name of the older was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel. 17 Leah had weak [a] eyes, but Rachel was lovely in form, and beautiful.

Here the contemporary translation
16-17Laban had two daughters. Leah was older than Rachel, but her eyes didn't sparkle, [a] while Rachel was beautiful and had a good figure.

although its intersting what happens in verse 31, it even more interesting that Pastor Adeboye chose this bible verse under the topic courtship in his daily devotional. Anyway what do you think ppl ? BTW if a sister has not been endowed with facially or physically what is she to do ?

Interesting post. I think looks will always play a factor and don't necessarily see it as a bad thing as long as like you say it isn't the deciding factor. I'm not so sure when you say you're looking for things you don't like, I think it's easier to look for what you like and see if you can cope with those you don't.

Everyone has baggage and everyone is attractive to someone so I think if a sister is not facially endowed so to speak it's subjective because some guy would definitely be interested.
